Barcelona Presents No Pressure for Loaned Star Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford states that he finds not a single thing at Barcelona as "stressful" and is embracing a "fresh dialect of football" as he keeps flourishing following his move from Manchester United.

"I don't see anything here as stressful. It's just, I'm here to perform on the pitch," the forward stated to reporters.

The 28-year-old England forward moved to the Spanish club on a temporary transfer in the offseason after a difficult spell at Old Trafford, which included a second-half of last season playing on loan at Aston Villa.

Impressive Beginnings in Spanish Football

His move to La Liga has proven a clear triumph thus far, with the player scoring a half-dozen goals and contributing eight assists in twenty-one outings.

"It has been incredible. I feel at home. I've just been enjoying every step of the way," Rashford continued.

Embracing a New Culture

Rashford, who shared that Barcelona were his "favorite club outside of England" during his youth, said he is making an effort to fully engage in the culture while residing in the Catalan capital.

"It is distinct, but it's a excellent experience for me," he commented. "And even little things, picking up the language and learning the culture, it's all enjoyable for me."

Career Revival and Future Possibilities

After scoring 138 goals in 426 matches for United and claiming five significant honors, Rashford lost his place at his childhood team. This led to a short-term move to Aston Villa before his 12-month loan to Barca in July.

His outstanding temporary stint at Villa Park attracted attention of England manager Thomas Tuchel, helping him to win back his place in the national squad.

Barcelona, the record La Liga champions, hold an option to acquire the forward on a permanent basis for £30.3m in 2026. Rashford has previously expressed his desire to remain.

New Language of The Game

"It's a new language of football," said Rashford. "I've always been, like many people, an admirer of Spanish football. To represent the biggest club in Spain is a massive honor."

His performance in a recent 2-1 Champions League victory, where he came off the bench and delivered an key pass, earned accolades from the local press.

With Barcelona atop the league, Rashford's goal for the rest of the season is "simply just to win."

"It's a club that demands this," he finished. "The atmosphere is always pushing us to be the best players we can be, so it's ideal to be in a place like this."
