France's PM Lecornu has announced that “there is a desire” for the country to have a spending plan by the year's end.
Remarking at the official residence, Lecornu said:
I have strong grounds to tell you that among the positive developments, every discussion I've conducted with the National Assembly leader, Braun-Pivet, and with the Senate leader, Larcher, with each party of the UDI, LIOT, the Republicans, Place publique, MoDem, Horizon, Renaissance and further entities, that there is willingness to secure a budget for France before 31 December of the current year.
This desire creates a movement and a convergence, obviously, which eliminates the possibilities of dissolution.
He added that he will present his findings to the country’s president, Macron, later this evening.

Lecornu is the latest French premier after a series of early elections in the past year ended in a divided legislature and expanded seats for the nationalist factions.
Lecornu stepped down on the start of the week just a short time after widespread opposition of his ministerial team.
Emmanuel Macron persuaded the premier to stay on until Wednesday night to seek to create a government coalition able to enact a much-needed austerity budget through parliament, with national debt at an record level.
He is anticipated to speak publicly on the current negotiations on the morning of October 8, before receiving officials of the Socialists.
He has stated he would “fulfill his duties” if this did not work out, appearing to mean snap elections.

France's premier Lecornu will deliver an address at 09:30 (8.30am British time) on October 8 in the courtyard at the official residence, his team said in a communication.
He had indicated on Monday after revealing his stepping down that he would undertake a series of talks with party heads by October 8.
